Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026
1. Introduction
At Styrki ("we," "our," or "us"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Styrki mobile app, website, AI coaching, fitness tracking, community, integrations, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:
- Account information, such as name, email address, password credentials, sign-in provider identifiers, username, display name, avatar, and profile settings.
- Training profile information, such as gender, birthdate, body weight, height, fitness goals, training level, equipment, home gym preferences, recovery settings, and notification preferences.
- Strength training data, such as workouts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, RPE, rest times, programs, personal bests, achievements, and workout notes.
- Running and cardio data that you enter or record, such as run type, distance, duration, pace, elevation, heart rate, splits, route summaries, and notes.
- Community content you choose to post or share, such as public workouts, runs, reactions, comments, profile content, reports, and blocked-user choices.
- Support and communications data, such as messages, feedback, bug reports, data export requests, and account deletion requests.
- Subscription and entitlement status, such as the Styrki plan, purchase state, renewal state, product identifier, and trial eligibility. Apple processes App Store payment details; Styrki does not receive your full payment card number.
2.2 Device, Usage, and Diagnostics
When you use the Service, we may automatically collect technical information needed to run, secure, debug, and improve Styrki, including:
- Device information (device type, operating system, browser type)
- Usage data (features used, time spent, interactions)
- Log data (IP address, access times, pages viewed)
- Diagnostics such as errors, performance events, request metadata, and app version/build information
- Cookies and similar technologies on the website
2.3 Location and Run Route Data
If you give permission and start a run, Styrki collects location data to track route, distance, pace, elevation, and related run stats. Background location is used only while an active run is recording or paused so the run can continue when the screen locks or the app is backgrounded. If you share a run publicly, Styrki may show a privacy-trimmed map or an anonymized route shape instead of raw start/end locations.
2.4 Health, Fitness, Motion, and Bluetooth Data
If you connect Apple Health, Motion/Fitness, Apple Watch, Bluetooth heart-rate devices, or third-party fitness integrations, Styrki may collect the specific data needed to power training insights and sync workouts. This may include:
- Apple Health read data: heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep analysis, workouts, workout routes, active energy, walking/running distance, VO2 max, body mass, and workout effort.
- Apple Health write data: workouts, active energy, walking/running distance, and workout effort for sessions you record in Styrki.
- Motion/Fitness and run sensor data used to estimate effort, distance, pace, and workout load.
- Bluetooth heart-rate data from devices you choose to connect, such as Polar, Garmin, Wahoo, or similar heart-rate straps.
- Optional integration data from services you connect, such as Strava, Polar, or Oura, including activity, workout, heart-rate, recovery, or token data required to sync those services.
2.5 Microphone, Voice, and Photos
- Microphone audio is captured only when you enable the live voice coach or a voice feature that clearly shows the microphone is active. Audio and related transcript/context may be streamed to our AI voice provider so the coach can respond during your workout.
- Photo library access is used only when you choose to save or share workout summaries, personal-best cards, or similar Styrki images.
3. How We Use Your Information

- Third-Party AI: When you use AI workout generation, coach chat, or live voice coach, relevant training context, prompts, microphone audio, transcript text, and session state may be sent to third-party AI providers so they can generate responses for you. 5. Health, Fitness, and Sensitive Data Commitments
Health, fitness, location, microphone, Bluetooth, and photo-library data are used only to provide features you request, such as run tracking, Apple Health sync, connected-device heart rate, workout insights, sharing, and voice coaching.
We do not sell this data. We do not use data gathered from HealthKit, Motion/Fitness, location, microphone, Bluetooth, or Photos for advertising, marketing, or use-based data mining. We do not write false or inaccurate data to Apple Health.
Permission-based features are optional. Paid functionality does not require you to grant Apple Health, Motion/Fitness, location, microphone, Bluetooth, or photo-library access unless that permission is directly needed for the specific feature you are trying to use.

- Integration Disconnect: Disconnect optional services such as Strava, Polar, Oura, or similar integrations from the app or the provider account.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and use information about you. Cookies are small data files stored on your device. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling cookies may limit your ability to use certain features of the Service.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, workout data, community content, and associated profile data subject to limited exceptions for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. Some information you shared with others may remain in limited form if needed to preserve conversation integrity or comply with law, but we remove it from public profile and training surfaces where practical.
